Prambanan Temple is largest Hindu relic in the Central Java. Located 17 kilometers to the northeast of Yogyakarta. Prambanan is complex of temples with the overall shape resembles a "gunungan" (one of Javanesse puppet, like a mountain shape) with high 47 meters.

Pramabanan temple is also often referred as Roro Jonggrang temple associated with the legend about a virgin who "Jonggrang" (tall). Boko King daughter, the King build up his kingdom in the hill,at south of Prambanan temple complex, the temple is limited to the edge of the fence ledge wich decorated with reliefs of Ramayana story.
We can enjoy with "peradaksina" (walked around the temple with a central temple always in the right of us) through the tunnel, the story continues on the fence ledge Brahma temple, which is at the left (south) of main temple. On the fence ledge Whisnu temple,located on the right (north) of main temple, there is relief of the Krishna Dwipayana story,the story about the little Prabu Khrisna as drip God Whisnu in order to fight against evil that would engulf the world.
The main temple room overlooking to the north contain a statue of Durga, empress Dewa Shiwa, but well known as Roro Jonggrang statue,
Prambanan temple complex built by Kings of Wamca (Dinasty) Sanjaya in the 9th century and now it is an object that can be visited every day between 06.00 - 17.30 hrs . Prambanan temple complex is located only a few hundred meters from the Yogyakarta - Solo road.
