BOROBUDUR TEMPLE

Borobudur temple is the largest Budha temple in the world, which is one of the 7 wonders of the world. Located on the northwest city of Yogyakarta, about 42 kilometers. Built in the VIII century, it was the result of hard work and perseverance of workers, and as the high dedication of relatives and people of Wanga Sailendra wich had the power at that time. The temple is really presenting Cailendra kingdom power, This temple try to describe the history Sidharta Gautama life and Buddha's teachings, through its 2.672 reliefs along beautiful wall of the temple.

Borobudur temple comprises six square platforms topped by three circular platforms, there are 504 Buddha statues.A main dome, located at the center of the top platform, is surrounded by 72 Buddha statues seated inside perforated stupa.
From the top of the temple can be seen the beautiful natural surroundings, At the west,we can see Mount Sumbing as one of volcano in Central Java with visible smoke clouds. This amazing building is a relic of our ancestors that very valuable not only for Indonesia but also for all the world.
